DIRECTIONS :
From Penrith
Leave the M6 at Junction 40 and drive east on the A66 for 1/2 mile. At the roundabout (Kemplay roundabout), take the 4th road off, sign posted A6 Shap, and continue through the village`of Eamont Bridge. Continue on for approx. 9 miles. Once in Shap, turn left at the Shap Fish & Chip shop (opp. the Bull's Head pub). This is sign posted Crosby Ravensworth. Drive for approx. 4 miles. Upon entering C.R., go right, past the Butcher's Arms pub, and through the village. The house is the last one, situated on the right. Outside is a sign which says "Active Holidays & Dog Training".
From Appleby
From the town centre take the B6260 and head towards Orton. Drive through the hamlets of Burrells and Hoff. After 2+ miles, look for a turning on the right side, sign posted Maulds Meaburn and Crosby Ravensworth. Drive into Maulds Meaburn, over the bridge and go left.
Upon entering C.R., drive past the Butcher's Arms pub, and through the village. The house is the last one, situated on the right. Outside is a sign which says "Active Holidays & Dog Training".
From the South
Leave the M6 at Junction 38, Tebay. Take the B6260 to Orton and follow the signs for Appleby. Drive through Orton, up a very steep hill and at the top over a cattle grid. Take the next road on the left hand side, sign posted Crosby Ravensworth. Continue past farm buildings at Woodfoot and over a narrow hump-back bridge. The house is the first on the left. Outside is a sign which says "Active Holidays & Dog Training".
